New Legislation!

Senate Bill 111 for the 2007 Session. 
Signed by the Governor 3/23/07
 

Amends KRS 29A.100 to require a judge to excuse a mother who is breast-feeding a child or expressing breast milk for a child from jury service until the mother is no longer breast-feeding the child or expressing breast milk for the child.

(2 ) Persons Who May be Excused from Jury:
(a) “A person having active care and custody of a person whose health and/or safety would be jeopardized if required to be absent for jury service…”
